  • Created angel level private placement with outside legal counsel to raise start up capital of $450,000.
  • Negotiated terms of a $1.5 million strategic investor agreement.
  • Created strategic plans and negotiated $2.7 million and $7 million rounds of venture capital.

Turnaround Operating Losses:

 

  • Cut operating loss by $690,000 (60%) in less than a year and formulated and executed strategies to achieve consolidated profit before taxes of over $40,000 per month.

  • Incubated a Windows software developer and raised $1.6 million in venture capital. Developed a direct marketing plan delivering over $1 million in first year sales. Assisted with selling the software and programming team to Borland (become “Sidekick for Windows”).
  • Founded Business International Networks, Inc., a pioneer Internet business to business site, as a subsidiary of Asia Pacific to take advantage of strategic relationships developed in China.
  • Researched and managed franchising start up process allowing company to begin franchising in less than six months. Managed the development of the initial Uniform Franchise Offering Circular. Company made $160,000 on each new franchise sold.
  • Helped manage Company from start up operating losses to $4.5 million of sales and $1.4 million of pre tax income in first full year of franchising.
  • Assisted with the planning and start-up of several products, including a magazine and an electronic financial information product.
  • Developed growth strategies to help company grow sales from $110 million to $270 million.

  • Initiated incentive compensation plans and employee benefits including stock option plans for several companies.
